Astros After Dark: Bregman Leads the Way in Win Over Seattle

The Astros continued their winning ways Tuesday night by taking down the Mariners, 11-5 from Seattle. With the win, Houston has now won five straight.

Alex Bregman had three RBI on two hits along with seven other Astros that had at least one RBI. The team pounded out 13 hits with two bombs from Tony Kemp and Robinson Chirinos. Chirinos has hit a home run in three consecutive games. Michael Brantley had two hits in the win for his 28th multi-hit game of the season.

Wade Miley pitched five innings, giving up three earned runs on three hits. He struck out six and walked three. Reymin Guduan earned his first win of the year after being recalled from Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday.

Houston has won nine of their last 11 games and is 5-0 on this west coast road trip. Brad Peacock will start game three of the series Wednesday night. First pitch will be at 9:10pm CT.
